The VIC-8P is the VICERA's current CPU. It is a really simple CPU with an architecture really close to the Gameboy's Z80-like CPU. However this CPU might become deprecated soon as a new CPU is planned.

The name "VIC-8P" means VICERA 8-bit Processor.
